ANDREW L. BRODSKY is an author, speaker, and researcher fascinated by the intersections of spirituality, science, and meaning. He was inspired to write How To Be God after experiencing a series of life-changing journeys catalyzed by psychedelics. A scientist at heart, he is fascinated by the power of reason, and its boundaries. His previous book, Science for Seekers, investigated the scientific roots of spiritual truths.
Andrew’s work explores issues of personal growth and purpose with intimate detail and poetic insight. His recent writing has covered topics including purpose-driven entrepreneurship; open marriage and sexuality; spirituality outside religion; progressive politics; and adventure travel.
Andrew is also the President of Brodsky Research and Consulting, a social policy consulting company. BRC specializes in evaluating the costs and benefits of early childhood systems. Over the past fiftteen years, Andrew has worked with over a hundred clients in seventeen states, including the U.S. Office Of Child Care and numerous state and local-level goverrnment and nonprofit organizations.
When not pressing keys, Andrew is an avid trail runner, having recently achieved his first DNF in Colorado’s Never Summer 100. He’s a lover of places, and is nearing the halfway mark of a quest to visit 100 countries.
Andrew lives in Longmont, CO with his badass wife, Three, founder of BConnected, Colorado’s largest LGBTQ meetup; and his two beautiful daughters.
